Steve's Story
Steven Ham, shaped by his roots in education and community, draws on a lifetime of experiences as his inspiration for his writing. Raised in the heart of America by his mother, who was a second-grade teacher, and his father, an elementary school principal, Steven's values were nurtured in an environment rich in learning, faith, and service. His involvement in church and Boy Scouts, coupled with the teachings of his influential Sunday school teacher, Eva Jane, profoundly influenced his belief system.
Guided by Eva Jane's wisdom, Steven believes in the transformative power of self-love. 'The greatest love you can offer the world is to first love yourself, for it is from this wellspring that all other loves flow.' This core belief is at the heart of his book, The Five Loves, offering readers a path to navigate life's challenges with compassion and courage.
